All Achillies Apollo amplifiers are hand wired to perfection, using very own branded Achillies power capacitors for ultimate tone and stability. We only use strictly requested (knot free) Radiata pine when building our cabinets, which gives that perfect balance required to offer you the finest amplifiers on the market. Constructed with traditional dovetail joinery, you can choose to have your Apollo amplifier wrapped with authentic Tweed cloth covering, or select from our range of tolex covering options for your Apollo amplifier.
We go to great lengths to apply the tweed cloth so that the pattern will flow in the same direction, from any viewpoint. Final finishing for tweed cloth covered amplifiers includes an application of 2 heavy coats of Nitrocellulose lacquer to protect your investment for years to come.
