Designed around one of the most influential small-format amplifier circuits ever created, the Apollo X delivers unmistakable vintage character, dynamic response, and raw musicality in a compact, studio- and stage-ready package.
At its core, the Apollo X features a dual 6V6 power section paired with a tube rectifier, producing a beautifully elastic feel with natural compression and harmonic bloom. The circuit is renowned for its ability to transition effortlessly from warm, open cleans into thick, touch-sensitive overdrive simply by adjusting your playing dynamics or guitar volume. Few amplifiers respond as intuitively to the player as this one.
Clean tones are rich and three-dimensional, with a woody midrange and soft top-end that never feels brittle. Freakin Amazing
My son and I just bought this amp yesterday from Gladesville Guitar Factory. The guys there have been amazing. Very patient and enthusiastic! We wanted a hand wired amp.... A lifetime purchase basically. We tried the Fender 57 Custom Deluxe around Christmas time and was great.... We tried other brands too... This Apollo X came in recently so we rushed in to try it... Both of us are blown away!!!! It's everything and more than we expected. It has THAT tone and FEEL!!!! Very touch sensitive and reactive.... We have Tele's, Strats and Les Pauls at home... All sound awesome... It's so easy to get great tones out of it.... The other great thing is it doesn't get "flabby" or "boxy" at high volumes with drive... Great work Achilles!!!! And it's made here in Australia!!

Apollo X
Ok, bought this, as a custom order from Labros, and being a Marshall man for ever, I wanted something different (but similar, if that makes sense) wanted more of that Billy Gibbons, Don Henley kinda sweet overdrive. The build quality is 10/10, the tone is 10/10 in accuracy to what I expected it to be. I ordered the Greenback vesion, and With my Strat, my Tele or Les Paul style guitars, this thing has the mojo. Blues Legend Chris Finnen gigged with my amp, and absolutely LOVED it. Great job Labros! Best amps ever.

Rock n Roll
If you've seen an Achillies you know the build quality is phenomenal, but it's the tone you care about and these are that good. My 2020 built 5e3 has a Celestian Blue in it which brings up the headroom and makes it a serious amp. I use a 40w JMP style amp for 5 piece rock gigs and took this to rehearsal instead and blew the gang away. It's a rock n roll amp that can hang with the band and tone- wise just plug in and it has 'the sound'. If you're after a bedroom amp go one of the smaller wattage ones or keep the std speaker, but if you want a grab and go you could play a decent gig with this and it fits the bill. Grindy with your Telecaster and pure Hotel California solo with a Les Paul :-)
