The Ophion 2×12 is a truly distinctive speaker cabinet, designed for players who want the depth and authority of a closed-back cabinet, combined with the air, bloom, and natural resonance of an open-back design — without the compromises of either.

Rather than using a traditional open panel, the Ophion employs a sculpted rear back featuring four arched sound ports, symmetrically positioned on each side of the cabinet. This carefully shaped architecture allows the cabinet to breathe in a controlled way, producing a sound that feels more organic, spacious, and three-dimensional than conventional designs.

Much like a semi-acoustic instrument, the Ophion responds dynamically to playing intensity. At lower volumes it delivers warmth, clarity, and an almost acoustic-like resonance, while at higher levels the cabinet retains punch, focus, and projection without becoming boxy or overly directional. The result is a cabinet that fills a room naturally, dispersing sound evenly across the stage and into the space.
